Why can’t anyone ever write a book about someone with an eating disorder who isn’t underweight? Even in fiction, they always write about how emaciated the person is and how they dropped weight so fast.
I’m reading Just Listen by Sarah Dessen (which, aside from that, seems to be a good book), but it’s not just this book: it seems like all books that involve eating disorders focus so much on repeating how sick the person looks. I want to read a book about a person with an eating disorder who isn’t described as emaciated.
