I’ve seen quite a few posts recently about people in recovery not having ideas about what to eat, being unable to come up with balanced meal ideas or to think of different foods to eat. Since I have a tab on my blog about meal plans, is there anyone who would find it helpful if I made up a post or a tab about ideas for meals and snacks?
I believe any food is okay to eat and it’s eliminating foods that’s the bad thing, so I wouldn’t be saying that the food ideas I write are perfect, only that they’re ideas (and if I did end up making this post, I would make an effort to include various food groups in each meal or snack). My other concern is that I don’t want to make my blog all about the surface-level aspect of eating disorders, either and I sometimes worry that posting too much about food and weight gives that impression.
I was also thinking of writing out a list of ways to challenge your eating disorder behaviors, which I could include on the same page if I did end up writing out this page or post.
Now that I’m finished rambling, can you like this post if you would find it helpful? I don’t know if it would help anyone or actually be useful.
